Here on this page are more pictures of SU CARBURETTERS.After some thought and customer requests I have endeavored to speed up the main pages on the whole site by placing most of the pictures on a separate page ,this does seem better .

Please let me know if you need further pictures or help and I will try to accommodate you.Most of the Su carburetter range are very straight forward to either repair or service and there are many many books on the subject. I would say that fuel leaks are every ones main worry ,but as long as the cork seals have-not dried out there should be no problem.If the jet cap nut is over tightened it may cause the cork to either split or leak so be careful with the spanner.

HV2 ,Why go to the trouble of rebushing a worn carburetter body when I can sell you a new one for just £35.00 plus p&p

I have-not counted how many are left but I think there is about 30 then its back to expensive bushing

A bit unusual this isn't it I think it may go on a wolsely but ??

There is quite a large range of these HS 6 Su they were fitted to so many cars .A simple change of jet and angle and it would fit even more .I have both new and reconditioned units

H type Su carburetters are also fitted on a huge range of cars even ( MC 2/3 fitted to the Ariel square four & triumph thunderbird motor bikes) I do have a reasonable range of these left only square four one left all the rest sold

Really modern for me these ,not bad when tuned to fit Morris minors .The main problem I get is the seals fitted to the spindle bushes harden and let air in especial if the bushes are worn.floats tend to harden go brittle then crack but still nice for tuning though
