SOLEX CARBURETTORS
are very good in design, they are quite difficult sometimes to set up but once sorted they will provide a long and durable life span .You can easily take them apart so long as you don't force the screws or nuts and bolts ,don't for get patience is very important ,if it doesn't come undone think don't force it . Use the hot water trick to ease the stripping down process.PLEASE PLEASE check you can actually get the new parts before any major problems can occur , better to leave well alone than no carburetter at all .
